2009 Summer Series Race # 3

3 mile Predicted Time Run

The South Penn Road Runners Club of Hanover held the third race of the
eight race Summer Series on Tuesday June 2 starting from the disc golf
parking lot in Codorus State Park. The race was a three mile predict-
your-time event. Runners do not wear watches and have no times called
along the way.

The winner was Scott Lippiatt finishing three seconds faster than he
predicted. Mike Flaherty was 14 seconds over his time for second place.
The overall race winner with the fastest time was Mark Dende at 19:04.
Twenty-six runners started and finished.

The next race is in two weeks on June 16 at 7 PM at the Sheppard Myers
Dam south of Hanover. This will be a 4.5 mile team run. Teams will be
determined at the event. All are welcome.
